Quilter's Dream Cotton Request Batting
Like Quilting through Butter !!
My favourite Quilt Batting to use for hand quilting and equally fabulous if you are machine quilting. You end up with a quilt which has the most beautiful drape.
Perfect for use with Liberty Tana Lawn and Linen, when you want to continue on that beautifully refined feel and it is quite simply a delight to hand quilt through.
If you've avoided hand quilting - this will change your mind.
It has a very high thermal value (R=3.8) warm in the winter, yet wicks moisture away from the body to keep you cool in the summer. Because there are no scrim, glues, or other binders to add resistance, needles (by machine and hand) glide smoothly through the fine, consistent, even cotton batting.
It comes in a variety of sizes but to start we have:
Throw (60" square) or Twin Sized (72" x 93")
100% Cotton
NB: Australian Orders containing Batting will be shipped via regular Parcel Post and not upgraded to Express Post.

It is a great thread to hand sew with. It doesn't kink, tangle or knot as you go. Smooth and feels quite luxurious. Will be hard to go to another thread to hand sew with after this.

Love this Comptoir de Toile in rich burgundy and mustard. I’ll use this fabric for cross stitch then make it into a bag. It’s the perfect weight for embroidery, bag making and patchwork and the colour is really beautiful.
Love the Comptoir de Toile fabrics. The colours are gorgeous and they are a great weight for both bag making and patchwork. Love these gingham style checks.
Mel’s Japanese Yarn Dyed Dobby fabrics are fabulous. I’m going to use the black for a bag with felt applique but it is also the perfect patchwork weight.
The Japanese Yarn Dyed Dobby fabric in medium grey is great fabric. The fabric itself is soft but with just the right amount of body for patchwork or bag making. The grey shade is lovely. Thanks Mel!
